Cancer Awareness Tournament Results - Men's and Mixed

The Men played 6 games against each team and earned 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie and 0 for a loss.

Congratulations to the team of Bob Gibson/Manfred Sohni  for winning the Men’s Doubles as the winning team in a play off against Ken Civiello and Jerry Grayson. 

Mixed doubles today had lots of great matches:

 The morning session was won by the team of Ken Civiello/Doris Grayson in a 10-7 tie break against the team of Bob Gibson/Mary Anderson.

 The afternoon session was won by the team of Pete McGannon/Helen Arnold in an 11=9 tie break against the team of Manfred Sohni/Patti Blessen.

 The tie break between the two sessions was won by the team of Ken Civiello/Doris Grayson in a 10=8 tie break against the team of Pete McGannon/Helen Arnold.

 Congratulations to all the winning teams in the Palm Creek Tennis Club Cancer Awareness Tournament.  And, everyone who played was a winner in supporting this very worthy cause.

 If you don’t make it to the dinner tomorrow night, please make sure you thank Jean McConnell and Mary Anderson for the excellent job on this tournament!!!

Palm Creek Tennis Club Cancer Awareness Tournament - Ladies Results

Here is an update on the results of the Ladies Doubles played today in the Cancer Awareness Tournament;

 Sandy Hurlbert/Harriette Roberts won the 9:30 session

 Rhoda Zaph/Mary Williams and Penny Jacobsen/Bev Nirenberg tied in the afternoon session.  Penny Jacobsen and Bev Nirenberg won the tiebreaker between these two teams.

 Sandy and Harriette then played a tie break with Penny and Bev.   By winning this tie break, Sandy and Harriette are the winners of the ladies doubles.  Congratulations to Sandy and Harriette and congratulations to all the ladies who played as we are all winners!!!

 It was a beautiful day and all the ladies had a great time.
