2010 Palm Creek Tennis Tournament - Awards

The 2010 Palm Creek Tennis Tournament is now a thing of the past. Everyone that played enjoyed some fun matches. With court 6 set up as a spectator court there was lots of room to watch the matches. The absolute grand finale was the Men's Doubles match with Ken Civiello and Jack Hardy giving it their all against Skip Nirenberg and Walt Krahl.

The 2010 Tennis Tournament ended with a great Pizza and Awards party enjoyed by all the players and members of the Palm Creek Tennis Club.

Tennis Tournament - Thursday schedule moved to Friday

Due to the rain, all matches scheduled for today, Thursday, will be moved to Friday. The scheduled times and courts will be exactly the same as the Thursday schedule. Barring no future bad weather, we will be able to finish the tournament on Sunday afternoon. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 6459.

Tennis Tournament - Thursday 1/28 Schedule

As long as there are no weather problems there will be three session on Thursday and Friday: 9-11 AM, 11 AM-1 PM, and 2-4 PM. In order not to conflict with church on Sunday, we will not begin play until 11 AM. If you are not playing, please come out to cheer on the teams that are playing. Court 6 will be set up as a spectator court. As a result of the seedings, the schedule for Thursday is as follows:

Tennis Tournament postponed to 1/28-1/31

Due to the forcast of 80% chance of rain on Thursday and Friday with winds at 25-30 miles per hour, the tennis tournament, originally set to begin on 1/21, has been postpone one week. The tournament will start on Thursday, Januay 28th and conclude on Sunday, January 31st. The registration period will be extended to Tuesday, January 26th. If anyone has a conflict due to this scheduling change please contact Kate or Mark (6459). All brackets have "byes" so if you have not already signed up, please contact Kate or Mark (6459). Schedules and results of play will be posted on this website as well as on the bulletin board at the tennis courts.
