Tennis Tournament - Seeding - changed and new teams

To: All players in the 2010 Palm Creek Tennis Tournament:
In hingsight it looks like we made the right decision to postpone the Tennis Tournament until the 28th. Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed that we have beautiful weather this weekend. For those who had to change partners, or for new entrants to the tournament we are going to have another seeding event on Tuesday (1/26) at 3:30pm immediately following the tennis lessons. To date the following teams will need to attend this event:

Ken Civiello/Laurie Bredeman
Rhoda Zaph/Rick Watkins
Marg Wildeman/Jack Metzler
Bob Ryan/Mary Sullivan-Pondell
Ken Civiello/Jack Hardy

If any of you cannot make this event, please let us know so that we can set up a time for you. Also, at this time we have two byes in every division. Therefore, if you know of anyone who is interested in entering, please let them know that we need them! I am putting more applications in the tennis bulletin board and I can email applications to anyone if they let me know (6459 or nperrie1@yahoo.com) they are interested.

We will be scheduling the Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed opening matches on Thursday. So you will be playing on Thursday (1/28) unless you get a bye. I will send an email to you with the schedule of play after the seeding event on Tuesday but no later than Wednesday. We will also post the brackets and schedule of play on the tennis bulletin board and on the Palm Creek Website: www.palmcreektennisclub.blogspot.com
