It's Finally Happening!

Our tennis members are delighted to see that the project has begun to re-construct four of our tennis courts.  We have been eagerly awaiting the word from Palm Creek management that funds have been budgeted to make our second four courts as good as the other four.  We'll try to be patient as we watch the work progress.

Another Busy Day at the Courts

Thursday, November 5th was a busy day at the Palm Creek Tennis Center.

The first Mixed Doubles Round Robin had a good turnout.  

 We were excited to have 17 participants!

The girls lined up waiting for instructions.  Lucky Penny was the "boss" for the day.  She did a great job.

The Boys are being very patient, too! Where do we go? What is my number?

Then, later in the afternoon a crowd gathered to celebrate our buddy John Blessen's 80th birthday.

"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Dear John!"

John's beautiful daughter welcomed everyone. Our Resident Musician, Larry, played, and the Birthday boy danced! He is quite good!

Round Robins are in action!

President Glen never stops working.....he gets us organized for the new Round Robin Program!

No pre sign-up, just arrive 15 minutes early! Play 8 Rounds, or 1 1/2 hours using Palm Creek Rules!

Women play every Tuesday 1-3 or 2:30pm

Today was our first day. The winds were 

about 20-30 mph!!!

All agreed that it was going to be a fun format! The men played Monday; they thoroughly enjoyed their Round Robin! 

We haven't heard a negative comment yet!

Thursday at 11-1pm we play Mixed! Come join us!
